Design-Build Storms Healthcare

Posted on November 30, 2010

It is not every day that your client’s project makes the cover of Healthcare Design magazine, so I must toot my horn a little. Haskell’s recently completed St. John Broken Arrow hospital graces the November 2010 cover as an ideal example of how design-build works for healthcare facilities. I have heard every story and excuse why design-build is not up to the task, but the systems, owners, developers and rural facilities we work with do not agree.

Granted, Haskell’s flavor of design-build is a little more specialized—integrated design-build—since our project team is all under one company flag. This may make design-build a clear choice in my mind, so read the article for yourself and let me know if you are not convinced, why you are not convinced.
